After the event: thank-yous and wrap-up
The party's over and the gifts are in. TheBowList keeps track of who gave what, so the last step is the nicest one: saying thank you.

Work through your thank-yous
Every gift and fund contribution lands in your thank-you list with the guest's name and message. Tick each one off as you send a note, and the dashboard counts down how many are left.
- “Email a thank-you” opens a ready-to-edit draft in your own email app. Make it personal before you send it.
- Etiquette in Canada: aim for within two to three months for weddings, and within a few weeks for showers and birthdays.
Turn off spoiler mode
If you had spoiler mode on, switch it off in your registry settings to see every gift and who gave it.
Download your gift list
From your gift list, download everything as a spreadsheet: date, guest, gift, quantity and message. It's handy for addressing envelopes, splitting notes between partners, or keeping a record.
Leave it open for late gifts
Some guests give weeks after the event. Leaving your registry up costs nothing and catches those late gifts. Contributions keep going to your Stripe account, and Stripe pays them out to your bank on its usual schedule.
- When you're done, you can make the registry password protected or delete it in Settings.
